The Wildcats travelled to Tilton on Saturday for their third straight road contest. The girls were focused and determined to get their game back on track. Unfortunately, the Rams struck first off of a bad bounce that ended up in the back of the net. At the end of the first the score was 1-0 in favor of Tilton. The second period was controlled by the Wildcats; however they still could not put the puck in the net. Tilton was able to drive home another odd bounce and the score was 2-0 at the end of the second. The Wildcats changed some things around in between periods and came out determined in the third. Lindsey Landwehrle was able to drive home her first goal of her KUA career off of a pass by Mary Donovan. A few minutes later the same line was able to drive home a goal by Shannon Sebor off of an assist by Lindsey Landwehrle. The score was 2-2 with half the third period remaining. The Wildcats threw all they had at Tilton; however the Tilton goalie was able to come up with some big saves. The game ended in a 2-2 tie with the Wildcats out shooting the Rams 30-18. The Wildcats return home on Wednesday to take on Groton at 4:00.
