KUA's first half goal holds up for the win

Kimball Union Academy went on the road and defeated Holderness 1 - 0 on a first half goal by freshman Morgan Walsh. Rebecca Deturk assisted on the strike, playing a through ball behind the Holderness defenders. Goalkeeper Emily kelly recorded the shutout, stopping a penalty kick 10 minutes into the second half. Defenders Kaitie Sanders and Maddie Fernsell had outstanding games for KUA. Holderness held a 16 - 8 advantage in shots and KUA had 2 - 1 edge in corners. KUA next hosts New Hampton on Saturday 11/6 @ 3:00pm.
