KUA explodes for 6 goals in 6-2 win over Tilton
Kimball Union Academy's Varsity Girls soccer team exploded for 6 goals, posting a 6 - 2 victory over Tilton Academy. Freshman Morgan Walsh, (Duxbury, MA) scored two first half goals for the Wildcats and junior Abbey Hybl (Rochester, VT) scored in each half to lead KUA. Sophomore Sarah Landgraf (Orford, NH) scored unassisted with 12 minutes to go in the contest and Sophomore Rebecca DeTurk (Hartland, VT) finished the scoring with just 6 minutes left, converting a penalty kick. KUA out shot Tilton 15 - 5 and held an edge in corners 6 - 1. KUA hosts The Holderness School on Friday at 3:00pm.
