Two early goals spell defeat for KUA as they go down 2-0 vs Cushing

KUA Girls Soccer team travelled to Cushing to take on a talented and athletic opponent in the Penguins.  Cushing got off to a strong start, scoring goals at the fifth and the fifteenth minutes  to take a 2-0 lead.  KUA responded with a few good solid counter attacks but were unable to penetrate  Cushing’s back four.  Both teams settled in and tightened their defensive screws a bit to limit scoring opportunities throughout the rest of the game.  Cushing was able to serve dangerous balls into the area but goalie Emily Kelly was there to knock down any chances for the home team.  As a result the game ended 2-0 with KUA on the short end.  KUA plays their final game of the season at Vermont Academy on Saturday.
