KUA loses 1-0 to Proctor

KUA girls soccer traveled to Proctor Academy today to take on the Lady Hornets in a match rescheduled from Saturday.  KUA came out on the short end again, losing 1-0 on a goal scored in the fifteenth minute.  In a tightly fought match from that point on both teams got their chances but were unable to score again.  A late scrum in front of Proctor's goal looked to be the equalizer for KUA but the ball was just clearly off the line by the Proctor defense. KUA's Lauren Borislow served a number of dangerous balls into the area; Caysea Benner and Maddy Kenyon worked hard to put them away but their efforts went unrewarded.  Tori Agel had another strong game as a central defender for KUA and goalie Emily Kelly turned away three very dangerous challenges in the second half to keep KUA within one. Lakes region foe New Hampton comes to take on KUA on Wednesday.
