MAddy Kenyons lone goal leads KUA to their first win of the season over Tabor

KUA Girls soccer team took a 1-0 lead thirty minutes into the first half on a solid strike from 20 yards out by Norwich's Maddy Kenyon that caromed in off the far post.  KUA's defense then settled in to limit Tabor's offensive opportunities to make that goal hold up for a 1-0 victory over visiting Tabor Academy.  Strong midfield play from Caysea Benner and Shannon Doherty complemented a solid team effort from KUA.  Lauren Borislow moved back to center the back four and her efforts at directing from the back were particularly effective. KUA's record now stands at 1-2 as they return to league play next Wednesday vs Tilton at home.
