KUA Evens Record With Win Over Brewster
Andrew Murmes pitched a complete game three hitter to push his record to 4-0 on the mound and even KUA's record at 5-5 with one game left in the season. Murmes faced four hitters over the minimum, as he also benefited from a double play and catcher Scott Faucher going 2 for 2 in throwing out attempted base stealers. Faucher was also important for the Wildcat's offensive attack going 3 for 4 with a run scored and 2 RBI. Shortstop Ryan Burgess continued his torrid pace at the plate going 4 for 4 with a triple, one RBI and three stolen bases. With his 4 for 4 day Burgess pushed his season batting average to .600. Andrew Weitzel, Neil MacKenzie, Gian Perani, and Nat Houston added two hits apiece
