KUA Tops Proctor
KUA rode an eight run second inning and a six run fifth inning to beat Proctor Academy 17-5 today at KUA. After falling behind 4-0 after one inning KUA pitcher Andrew Weitzel settled in and gave up one run over the next five innings. Weitzel gave up four earned runs while striking out 7.
The KUA offense was led by Ryan Burgess and Nate Goss-Woliner. Burgess went 4-4 with 3 RBI and five stolen bases while Goss-Woliner added three hits, including a three run home run and drove in four runs. Weitzel added two hits . The KUA offense banged out 13 hits over six innings.
