Short Handed Wilcats Come Up...

KUA played a match against Lakes Region opponent Tilton on Friday April 24th. The team was missing three of their top 5 players and tried to make due with the players that were available. #1 player Taylor Millward made a valient effort, shooting 39 for nine holes but it wasn't enough as he three putted the eighth hole for an untimely bogey and he eventually lost his match 2 down. #2 Michael Shin played well while his opponent hovered around par bringing another point to Tilton. #3 Sam Hermann and #4 Ian Gagnon grinded their way around the course but were unable to muster a point in their matches.  #5 Zachary Musgrave lost his match on the eighth hole after a tough start left him two down through two holes. Finally, #6 Damien Affleck playing in his first match, shot a 47 and lost on the final hole. The boys played hard and look forward to a rematch next Saturday at Hanover Country Club against Tilton.
