Wildcats Open Season Saturday against Pomfret

The Kimball Union Academy Boys’ Lacrosse team opens their season this Saturday against Pomfret Academy at 4:30pm. The game will be played at Cushing Academy.  Veterans and newcomers to the varsity squad have been playing for two weeks. Wins in each of their five pre-season scrimmages against St Paul’s School, Middlebury High School,  Essex High School, Holderness, and Bridgeton Academy have prepared the team well for their Saturday faceoff against perennial rival Pomfret.  KUA has not beaten Pomfret in four years and looks to avenge last year’s one goal season opening defeat.
