Wildcats Lose to Tough New Hampton Team

After spotting the Huskies an 18 point lead at the break (28-10), the Wildcats clamped down on defense and played the talented opponents evenly in the second stanza (14-14).  Another bright spot for the Cats was the fact that the smaller squad outrebounded NHS 42-31.  Six different players pulled down 5 or more boards with Tori Agel leading the charge with 10 defensive caroms.  Bianca Brenz, Shelby Pillsbury and Faith Smith all had 7, while Greydy Diaz and Ainsley MacDonald grabbed 5.  No player for either team scored in double digits.  Agel led the Cats in scoring with 8.
