Building on its improved play against Proctor Academy last weekend, the KUA girls varsity came out strong against visiting New Hampton School and won the league game 3-0. KUA kept the pressure on New Hampton throughout the first half, creating plenty of chances. KUA found the net during the second half, when sophomore Tori Agel won the scramble in front of the New Hampton net after a corner kick. Agel struck again ten minutes later , moving forward from her wing defender position to collect a cross and park it in upper right corner of the net. Fellow sophomore Lauren Borislow added the insurance goal later in the half with a strike from outside the 18 that curved in over the goalie's hands. Junior defender and co-captain Sammi Landino had another strong game at wing defender, and sophomore Sadie Thompson was a constant threat at forward.
