KUA ties Berwick 2-2

Kimball Union travelled to Berwick Academy in Maine this weekend and continued their strong play, jumping to a 2-0 lead in the first half. Sophomore scoring sensation Sadie Thompson opened the scoring with a calm finish to the right corner of the net, and fellow sophomore Molly Meade scored her first varsity goal from a nice cross from senior Lauren Lenz. The second half was less kind to the lady wildcats, who managed to score two own goals to tie the score up. Partial credit goes to a spirited Berwick squad, who upped their intensity considerably during the second half. KUA has their last home game this Wednesday against Holderness.
