Girls' JV Triumphs over Putney

In their season opener at Putney School, the KUA Girls' JV Soccer team played a choppy first half with much of the play in their defensive end before coming alive in the second half and scoring the game's only goal, winning 1 - 0. Strong play in the back from Emily Zea '10, Maddie Fernsell '11, and goalkeeper Josie Timmons '08 anchored the team. The goal was scored as time was expiring by Alli Howe '08 off of an assist from Maddie Fernsell '11. The Wildcats will be back in action on Saturday against Tabor Academy.
