1st Lakes region loss

The 2^nd Hockey team played well in a fast-paced game at Tilton, but fell short in overtime to suffer its first Lakes Region loss. Tilton scored early in the game, but Tyler Bicknell scored late in the period with assists from Neil MacKenzie and Cody Danforth to tie things up. Tilton went ahead again, but Vinnie Smith scored with an assist from Tyler Bicknell mid-way through the third period to tie the game at two. KUA had several great offensive chances early in the overtime, but Tilton scored a powerplay goal with just over a minute left to win 3 - 2. All four of KUA’s defensemen played extremely well, and Bob Fowler was clearly one of the stars of the game in the KUA net.
