KUA beats SPS by one.
The 2nd team came out ahead in an exciting and fast paced game against visiting St. Pauls’ School. Vinnie Smith and Mike Maggiore each scored in the first to put KUA up 2 – 0. KUA continued to buzz around the St. Pauls’ net, but SPS was able to get two to tie the score. Defenseman Ben Wyskiel scored the winning goal on a powerplay mid-way through the third, but both teams had some great chances in the closing minutes of play. Neil MacKenzie, Scott Schachter, Trevor MacDonald and Nick Millette were each credited with assists, and Bob Fowler played in the goal.
