Holland Shines in Goal as Wildcats Tame Vermont Academy

Bryan Holland (Barrington, RI) was smooth and strong in goal today while Tri-Captain Jeff Galvin (Meriden, NH) notched a hat trick to pace the Wildcats to an 8-3 win over a determined Vermont Academy squad. Midfielders Evan Roberts (West Cornwall, VT), Brent Bourgeois (New Haven, VT) and Sean Lavin (North Easton, MA) each contributed a goal while freshman attack man Cody Danforth (Milton, VT) had two goals on the day. The close defensive trio of Judson Pickard (Cincinnati, OH), Trevor McGraw (Meriden, NH) and Ben Severance (Rumson, NJ) allowed very little opportunity for Vermont attack man. Roberts, Matt Parker (Shelburne, VT) and David Frasz (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) handled the face off chores while long stick midfielder Josh Boissoneau ( Bedford, NH) was tough on Vermont all afternoon as they struggled to clear the ball.
