1/25 Girls' Hockey played a great game against Holderness. Sam Ciocchi, Jaime Begin, Glory Williamson-O'Neil, and Lauren Slipp were solid on defense while Brittney Testa stopped 37 shots. A minute lapse in the middle of the second period allowed Holderness two goals. The girls fought to get back in the game and the line of Charlotte Hastings, Lilly Callahan and Ashley Hall put on the pressure to generate offensive opportunities. Unfortunately, KUA could not find the back of the net and the game ended in a 2-0 loss. First-year player, Sammi Landino, showed great improvement with solid forechecking and a lot of hustle. Ali Howe, Sarah Cutts, and Brita Ulf also stepped up their play, challenging the Holderness girls whenever they stepped on the ice. KUA looks forward to a home game this Friday against Southfield School.
