1/18 Girls' Hockey lost a hard fought battle with Vermont Academy yesterday. Newcomers Sammi Landino and Brita Ulf impressed us all with great improvement as they contributed solid forechecking and smart play throughout the game. Charlotte Hastings demonstrated an innate ability for defense and Lauren Slipp, Brittney Testa, and Alison Howe were versatile players, stepping in both on defense and up front. Glory Williamson-O'Neil was a strong force until the third period when we unfortunately lost her to injury and then really struggled without her defensive skills and relentless aggression. The girls put the loss behind them and look forward to a home game against Holderness next Wednesday.
