2/8 The KUA Boys Hockey Team hosted Andover Academy, the 10th ranked prep school team, and lost 4-3 in overtime. Today's overtime loss was KUA's fourth and seventh one goal loss of the season. The first period was evenly played but Andover was able to capitalize on a KUA neutral zone turnover with 1:38 left in the period. KUA came out for the second period and out hit, out hustled and out worked Andover. This effort paid off as KUA capitalized two times. Peter Roundy and Jeff Dunkle scored the goals. The period ended 2-1 in KUA's favor. The third period was evenly played once again. Andover tied the game, but Roundy answered right back giving the Wildcats a 3-2 lead. KUA got into trouble late in the third but was able to kill of a 5-3 penalty kill. Andover tied the game with 2:19 left sending the game into overtime. Andover killed off a KUA power play at the start of overtime and this led to Boston College bound Chris Cahill's heroics for Andover. Ben Severance made 24 saves for KUA.
