KUA Earns Second Win Over Proctor

KUA came out a unified front on Wednesday to take on Proctor for their second match-up of the season. The game started off as a back and forth contest, but the Wildcats surged ahead and dominated all over the field.

Clark had a great game between the pipes with seven saves. The defense as a whole was able to hold the Proctor attack at bay throughout the game. Lopez and McClure were all over the field and each logged a caused turn over and a ground ball a piece. Dockery and Folwer-Thorsen also had ground balls for the Wildcats in the defensive end.

Offensively, it was clear that Proctor had studied KUA's play from the previous match, yet the Wildcats were able to adapt and come out as a different team. Brinkman had a standout performance with ten draw controls, seven goals and two assists. Daft and Bethke were also notable players with Daft earning five goals, four assists and four draw controls. Bethke was more of a play maker this time and set up her teammates off ball, but was also a key player with three goals and five assists.

KUA will be back on the field on Friday at Brewster for a 5:00PM game.
