Wildcats win home opener

Sophomore Svia Russman-Araya scored 1 minute into the match as the Wildcats started fast and never let up. Senior Merrill Doherty scored the second goal with Russman-Araya getting another late in the second half to put KUA up 3-0 at the half. Junior Mo McBride scored the final goal of the match near the 70th minute mark. Assists on the day went to Senior Audrey Donahue, Senior Lucie Turcotte, Sophomore Gwynn McGee, Russman-Araya and Merrill Doherty. Keeper Sophie Braver stopped 5 shots on the day to post the shutout. Next game is Friday October 1 at 5:30pm when the Wildcats host Proctor Academy.
