KUA's season ends with a 73-68 loss to Wilbraham in the first round of the NEPSAC Class AA tournament.

The KUA boys basketball season ended today with a 73-68 loss to Wilbraham Monson School in the quarterfinal round of the NEPSAC Class AA New England tournament. The Wildcats, a fifth seed, lost to Wilbraham (4th seed) in a hard-fought battle that was not decided until the final minute of the game. Wilbraham was up one at the half, 24-23, and then pushed their lead to 12 midway through the second half. KUA created two turnovers with their press and hit two quick threes to cut the lead to 5 with three minutes to play but failed to close the gap further. Rob Brown finished up his season with another game scoring over twenty with a game-high 26 points. Quinn Guth, Andrew Hartel, and Rob McRae joined him in double figures with 12, 11, and 10 pts respectively. Kimball reached the 20 game win threshold this season, finishing with a final record of 20-8. The Wildcats will graduate four players from this squad; thank you to Rob McRae, Andrew Hartel, Jarrod Flynn, and Owen Grady.
