KUA comes back from an 18 point deficit to win 77-76 over Winchendon.

In their final regular-season game, the Kimball Union Wildcats came back from an 18 point second-half deficit to win by one, 77-76. Kimball Union was up one at the half, 41-40, but Winchendon went on a 12-0 run midway through the second half to build their lead to 18, 70-52.  The Wildcats then dug in and went on a 25-6 run of their own to pull out the victory in the last seconds of the game. Rob Brown scored 15 of his game-high 27 points in the second half, going  8 for 8 from the charity stripe  as KUA mounted their comeback.  Andrew Hartel had his third game in a row in double figures scoring 18 points, joined by Rob McRae with 16 points.  The Wildcats finish out their regular season  14-5 in Class AA, and 20-7 overall. They will find out tomorrow who their first-round opponent will be in the NEPSAC AA tournament with the game scheduled to be played next Wednesday.
