KUA heads off for the holiday break with an exciting 85-77 victory over a talented Brookss team.

The Kimball Union Boys basketball team heads into the holiday break with an overall record of 7-2 after garnering two wins in the St Andrews Holiday Classic this weekend. In their second game of the showcase Kimball Union defeated a strong and talented Brooks team 85-77. The game was tied at 38 going into the half; the Wildcats fought back to tie it again at 60 with under 8 minutes to go. From there the teams exchanged baskets until KUA was able to pull ahead for good as the clock was winding down. Rob Brown finished off a stellar weekend with his second game in a row as high scorer with 41 points. Rob McCrae (20 pts) added to the cause. Matt Price did an excellent job marshaling the Wildcats at the point, added 11 points of his own. The Wildcats now go on break, returning to action with a home game vs Lawrence Academy on Wed. Jan 8.
