KUA Struggles to Find Rhythm in Loss to Proctor

The Wildcats jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead on Friday night thanks to Andrew Robertello's goal in the opening possession. On the subsequent possession Proctor capitalized on a man up opportunity to tie the score 2 minutes later. Sophomore Ethan Howell notched his 21st goal of the season to put KUA back on top with 3:46 to go in the 1Q. Proctor again would answer a minute later to even the score heading into the 2Q.

The rest of the night saw KUA fail to captialize on scoring oppotunities despite their ability to get looks at the cage. Proctor kept the pressure on. Aided by undiscilpined play in between the boxes and a few penalties, Proctor stretched the lead to 8-2 with 5:43 to play in the 3Q. Sophomore Carson Moe and Ethan Howell scored late in the 3Q. To make the score 8-4 heading into the 4Q. By then the daage was done. Freshman Max Gesner scored his first career goal midway through the 4Q off an assist from Howell. Chris Bassi continued his strong play in cage.

The Wildcats have two big league games next week with Tiltion and Holderness that will go a long way in deciding their playoff fate.
