KUA Rally Falls Short

Trailing 3-6 late in the second quarter, KUA rallied back to tie the game at 6-6 midway through the 3Q. Both teams traded goals down the stretch and Williston made a great final stand to secure the 11-10 win.
Andrew Robertello opened the scoring for KUA five minutes into the 1Q. Williston was quick to answer, capitalizing on a KUA turnover in the clearing game. With the score tied at one Ethan Howell scored to put KUA up 2-1 with 1:30 left in the 1Q. Again Williston would answer, this time with just :03 left in the 1Q. Williston would own the 2Q, ballooning their led to 6-3 which was their biggest of the day. KUA used the last three minutes of the first half and the first three of the second to tie the game back up at 6-6 on three goals by Ethan Howell. The game turned into a seesaw battle from that moment on as the team traded goals through the 4th quarter. Joe Citera, Payton Ceppetelli and Jay Chubb helped KUA to close the gap to 11-10 with just two minutes to play. KUA had the ball for the final possession, but Williston's defense made one final stop to hand KUA their first loss of the season.
