Kimball Union Academy received donations from a record 880 individuals during its annual Day of Giving on Nov. 6 — a tremendous showing of support for the KUA mission and experience.
In total, more than $320,000 were raised during the 24-hour event and the donor total surpassed the previous record of 862 set in 2023. This year’s Day of Giving also set records for the number of young alumni and parents of current students who gave.
Support received during the Day of Giving, or “One Day. One KUA,” benefits the KUA Fund, which provides unrestricted, free-use capital that allows the institution to address its most pressing needs. Gifts fund hallmarks of the KUA education — from inspired teaching to spirited competition to creative expression and close-knit connections.
“Supporting KUA means investing in the heart of The Hilltop experience for every student, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support shown during this year’s event,” Director of Annual Giving Billy Rivellini said. “Every gift helps KUA continue to shape lives and create experiences our community will cherish forever.”
On campus, the day was celebrated with raffles, a prize wheel, and celebratory Playa Bowl treats, with students also crafting more than 200 thank-you cards in a show of gratitude to those who gave.
“Whether you are an alum, parent, grandparent, employee, or friend, your generosity makes a real difference and helps shape both the KUA we know today and the one we’re building for the future,” Rivellini said. “The love and enthusiasm that shine through on a day like this show just how deeply KUA impacts lives. We couldn’t be more grateful, or more excited, for what lies ahead on The Hilltop.”
Gifts to KUA Fund are welcomed no matter the day and can be made by visiting KUA.org/giving or by calling 603-469-2123.
