Wildcats Win Lakes Region Championship!

Adi Runge pitched seven innings while allowing only five hits to help lead the Wildcats to their second Lakes Region Tournament Championship in three years with a 7-3 win over Tilton. Fellow senior Stella Kozak led the attack offensively, tallying a double and a two-run home run. In addition, Runge, Leila Portugal, Kennedy FitzSimons, and Olivia Parker also added hits, while Zoie Stevens and Avy Arias contributed key RBIs for KUA. The KUA defense was incredible on the day, with Portugal, Kozak, Parker, and Anna Baker making key plays in the infield while the outfield of Gabi Young, FitzSimons, and Stella Prieto had a perfect day as well. Next up, the Wildcats have earned the #2 overall seed in the Western New England playoffs and will face #3 Choate on Saturday in Connecticut.
