  • 2018-2019 Teaching Positions

    Kimball Union is currently seeking the following positions for the 2018-2019 academic year.  We have an opportunity for either adjunct or full time depending upon ability to teach both math and physics and/or computer science:
    Typical Faculty responsibilities include extra-curricular activities, residential duties and student advising.

  • Director of the Annual Fund

    The Director of the Annual Fund has a convincing track record of developing and implementing an effective, comprehensive annual fund program. Reporting to the Director of Advancement and collaborating with the advancement staff, this manager develops and implements the annual fund strategies and programs that include the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of annual gifts from trustees, alumni, parents, and friends, including personal solicitations, e-communication, and direct mail. This key leader has direct contact with a diverse, passionate, intellectual and extremely well educated contributor and volunteer base.

    An experienced and motivated Annual Fund Director with strong strategic and tactical management skills and a determined commitment to purpose will help the institution realize its long-term financial goals.

    Experience & qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree and three to five years of successful fundraising experience. Annual Fund experience preferred.
    • Will demonstrate knowledge of the principles and practices associated with fundraising in independent schools, including direct mail, telephone solicitations, and reunion giving and donor relations.
    • Strong computer and analytical skills are required along with excellent writing skills.
    • It is important for a candidate to feel a commitment to the School, mission, programs, and future aspirations of the School.
    • A results-oriented individual, who demonstrates the ability to work well with people at all levels of an organization, warmly develops relationships with diverse constituencies, and simultaneously employs keen judgment has the best opportunity for success.
    • Strong, collaborative, energetic individual with seasoned fundraising skills.
    • Raiser’s Edge experience a plus.

  • Learning Center Specialist

    Kimball Union Academy, an independent boarding and day school for motivated, college-bound 9th-12th grade students, is currently seeking a Learning Specialist with an emphasis on math, to provide comprehensive learning development and support services to students with mild to moderate learning disabilities in a 1:1 setting. The successful candidate will have knowledge of the academic, emotional and brain-based components of learning in adolescence with the ability to utilize assistive technologies and interventions to support their growth and a strong background in mathematics.  The candidate will also be able to support students with reading and writing instruction. A graduate degree in Special Education or School Psychology preferred with a minimum of 3 years of related experience at the high school level.

  • Part Time Housekeeper/Custodian


    Kimball Union Academy is looking for an energetic team player to join our team! An opportunity is available for a part time Custodian/Housekeeper to assist in day-to-day housekeeping functions in dorms, classrooms and offices. Other duties include multiple event setups throughout the year, moving of furniture and trash removal.
