KUA ends the reguar season with seven consecutive victories

The Wildcats ended their regular season by reeling off seven consecutive wins – eleven wins in the final thirteen games. The last game was against a disciplined team from Hillside School in Massachusetts. Jay Chubb scored first to put KUA on the board, and Donte Pierre picked up a loose puck off the boards and drove to the net for KUA’s second goal (assists on those goals were credited to Cam Johnson, Sean Donoghue and Jeremy Sigl.) Hillside scored mid-way through the game to tighten things up, but Jeremy Sigl tipped in a shot from Jon Schafer only minutes later to put the Wildcats back up by two. Hillside scored late and pulled their goalie for an extra skater, but the Wildcats held on to win their sixth one goal game of the season.
The Wildcats will travel to Tilton Friday afternoon to play in the opening round of the Lakes region JV tournament.
