Freshmen Frenzy! Goals from Freshmen Julia Denny, Erin Gregory-Davis and Lexi Nottke Propel Wildcats

On a blustery afternoon on the turf in Andover, NH, the Wildcats rippled the twine three times while simultaneously keeping the girls from Proctor pinned in their own half for the majority of the match. Particularly solid play today from wingbacks Lizzie Palker and Aly Young helped the 'Cats maintain the majority of possession, while wing midfielders Mallory Schell and Alicia Malagon dictated the tempo with their work on 50/50 balls. One of the highlights of the game occurred when left forward Laura Robertello volleyed home a cross delivered by Lexi Nottke from the right flank. Robertello was called for offside on the play, but that didn't minimize the skill displayed by the team's starting left forward. At 3-0, the girls from the Hilltop are really coming together.
