Kimball Union Wildcats won their 6th game in a row beating Exeter 3-2. KUA ‘s Shannon Walsh scored just 41 seconds into the match, converting on a corner kick from Lindsey Landwehrle. Just before half Kaitie Sanders scored a direct kick from 40 yards out to give KUA a 2-1 halftime lead. With Exeter continuing to pressure the KUA backs throughout the second half, Shannon Walsh was able to find Amelie Poirier at the top of the 18 yard box and she finished it into the top right corner over the outstretched arms of the Exeter keeper. Exeter outshot the Wildcats 12 – 7 on the day and carried much of the play. Senior Caro Longpre and Sophomore Joanna Schafer had outstanding games on defense.
