On Monday, October 27, renowned energy executive Charles Bayless will speak to the Kimball Union community at All School Meeting.
Charles Bayless, who was born and grew up in the coal country of West Virginia,has earned a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable, respected and greenest energy executives in our nation. He has headed electric utilities in New Hampshire,
Arizona and Illinois and has served also as President of West Virginia Institute of Technology Mr. Bayless earned a master's degree in electrical engineering and a law degree--both from WVU--and an MBA in finance from the University of
Michigan. He has a home in Gilford, NH, and now serves on the Board of the Ontario Power Authority and Recycled-Energy Development, a leading firm in cogeneration.
Working with the Climate Institute in Washington, D.C., Mr. Bayless chairs its Black Carbon Reduction Council that fosters collaboration to reduce emissions of soot that both harms human health and the climate.
