KUA vs Vermont Academy

2/1 KUA Boys basketball team evened their record at 8-8 today with a 70-41 win vs Vermont Academy. KUA jumped out to a 38-24 lead at the half behind an outside shooting display by Devin Wooten and Joel Booker. Wooten hit five 3-pt shots in the first half and Booker added three. They each had one in the second half as well. Wooten ended with a game high 30 pts, Boooker followed with 16. Louis Garcia and Peter McNamara set the defensive tone throughout the game pressuring Vermont's high scoring guard to 23 points and controlling the defensive boards. KUA travels to the Boston area this week-end playing Brooks on Friday and Middlesex on Saturday.
