Wildcats Spray Hornets

The KUA Girls' JV Basketball squad traveled to Proctor Academy for the second time in a week and this time took down the hosts with a suffocating defense and opportunistic offense. Juniors Kate Mackey and Winsome Neville led the scoring with 14 and 9 points respectively, while Sunny Sun found open teammates early and often leading to easy buckets. Neville made one of the longest three pointers you'll ever see, hitting nothing but net from at least 30 feet away. But it was a total team effort as the Wildcats' zone defense stifled the Proctor offense. Next up: a rematch with St Paul's on Wednesday Jan 30 in the KUA Alumni Gym.
