KUA struck first on Wednesday at Philips Exeter. Junior midfielder Will Kezerian scored 2:02 into the game off a beautiful dodge from the midfield. Exeter was able to capitize at the 7:03 mark on a man up goal and never looked back building a 4-1 lead after 1Q.
Senior defensemen Matt Egan at the 3:03 mark into the second to bring KUA back within 2 goals, but exter scored the final 3 goals in the second to go up 7-2 at half.
The KUA defense continued to battle as senior defensman Jordan Harris, Matt Egan and Rob Raymond did a good job of containing their opponents. Andrew Robertello brought the game back within reach with 3:03 in the 3rd with a great goal off a groundball. Exeter got 2 quick ones at 1:52 and 1:44 in the 3Q to put the game out of reach at 9-3.
The 4Q saw the Exeter pressure wear down KUA and the game finished 10-3.
