KUA Outlasts Tilton in Season Opener

KUA prevailed in a close one in the opening game for both teams. Tilton took an early lead, followed a series of lead changes. KUA led by five at the end of the first half, which turned out to be the difference. It was a three-point game with less than two minutes to play, Tilton's 3 to tie rimmed out, and KUA's Roger Liu snagged the rebound. Tilton had no choice but to foul, Liu calmly drained both free throws, and that was that. Leading the scoring charge for KUA were Zach Wennik (9) and Norbu Norgay (9), brother of legendary JV2 star Khenrab Norgay. Overall, a good first outing.
