KUA cruises to win in the Southall Classic 69-32

KUA Boys basketballs team repeats as tournament champions with a convincing win today over Redemption Christian, 69-32 in the Bob Southall Classic at Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT.  KUA jumped out to a 16-2 lead and never looked back as they played at a pace that Redemption Christian could not counter. KUA's depth, all ten players rotating freely throughout the game, quickly wore their opponents down. Nate Knight, 17 pts 14 rebs, lead all scorers tonight; Cooper Williams kicked in with twelve and Ross Gerber had eleven.  Their third win in three games (a 63-56 win over Hyde in the opener, a 54-49 win over host Loomis in the semifinals) pushes KUA's pre-holiday record to 8-1.  They now go on break, returning to action at home  on Monday, Jan 4th vs St Foye.
