Tough Night at Brewster
KUA vs. Brewster: 0-5 Loss
KUA had a solid start to the game, but it was Brewster that broke the game open midway through the 1st period. From there, Brewster found momentum and stretched its lead to 3-0 heading into the 2nd. KUA tightened up defensively in the 2nd and did a better job of keeping the Brewster attack to the perimeter. However, Brewster was still able to capitalize on two rebound goals and extend its lead to 5-0 after the 2nd. The girls showed great pride as they made the 3rd period their best and skated to a scoreless draw in the stanza.
KUA returns to action Wed., Feb. 5 with a 2:00pm home game vs. Exeter.
