JV2 Girls Battle Tough Hanover Team
The girl's JV2 soccer team lost a hard fought battle to Hanover's reserve squad. It was an impressive effort on KUA's part as it was their first game together and many of the girls' first game ever. Tina Nguyen and Tori Chernin put forth a spectacular effort as a defensive duo at goalie and sweeper, respectively. Lilly Brownell and Alicia Malagon played tirelessly for almost the entire game at offensive and defensive center midfield, and Brittany Kainen and Vivian Fu steamed through with a couple breakaways up the wings but were unfortunately cut short by Hanover's defense before they could take a shot on goal. The girls are looking forward to another great game at New Hampton this Saturday!
