New Year, New Outcome
KUA got the new year off to a strong start defeating Proctor 47-42 in Andover today. All eight healthy Wildcats contributed in the victory by playing aggressive defense, sharing the ball and pulling down rebounds on both ends of the court. A determined Fiekah Fataar ‘13 led the way in scoring with 25 points , including a 5-for-6 performance from the foul line. Sophomore Shannon Walsh nearly missed a double-double with 9 points and 10 boards while Gretchen Schissel ‘13, Kaitie Sanders ‘14, Jill Clark ‘14 and Chloe Tyler ‘14 each contributed key baskets. KUA finished a season-best 8-for-11 from the charity stripe while the hosts made just 5 of 13.
