KUA battled their cross-state rivals to an 11-7 final. After going down 5-1 late in the second quarter, KUA found their momentum and traded goals the rest of the way.  At the half, they narrowed the lead to 5-2. Then, early in the third quarter, the Wildcats found themselves down 6-4. Going into the fourth quarter, Holderness held a slim 8-5 margin. Andrew Jarrett scored two goals to lead the Wildcats, while Andrew Cole scored one and assisted on another. Attackmen Max Abendroth and Ian Timpone each scored goals, and midfielders Mike Robertello and Kevin Vieira also scored one a piece.

Karl Menzel and PJ Tessier hustled in the midfield, each scoping up key ground balls and preventing easy clears. Long Pole Mike Powell clogged up the middle on defense as did his cohort Hunter Braswell. D-Poles Patrick Lynch, Peter Prendergast, Trey McDougall and Riley Alderman played determined defense all game.
Tim McNair was sharp in goal recording 12 saves on 23 shots.  KUA (3-5) plays next at home Wednesday at 4pm against Gould Academy.
