One shift in linemates provided huge dividends as the line of Trey McDougall, Will Ralston and Ian Timpone scored four goals in the first period against Lakes Region opponent Proctor Academy. Ian ended the day with two goals and two assists; Will had two goals; and Trey had one goal and three assists. Sean Condrick added two goals, and defenseman Zach Hallock earned two assists. Riley Alderman scored what may have been the most dramatic goal of the game when PJ Tessier passed the puck back to Andrew Jarrett – Andrew slid it along the blue line to Riley who blasted a one-time slap shot over the Proctor goalie’s shoulder. A number of other KUA players were strong, including Hunter Braswell who skated at full speed all game long, but the star of the game should go to Josh Young who did a great job in his second full game in net. He made several impressive saves, and the only goal he allowed was on a breakaway.
