Kimball Union travelled to Loomis today to take on Salisbury school. In a hard fought match KUA came up just short losing 54-51. KUA got off on the right foot with Jesse Chuku scoring 8 of his team high 16 points in the first half building a nine point lead but Salisbury found their way back into the game and trailed by two at the half 30-28. Salisbury then took control of the game midway through the second half building their lead to ten points only top see KUA fight back to take the lead 51-50 with one minute left on the clock. A few missed opportunities allowed Salisbury to score the last four points of the game to win. Duby Maduegbanum had 14 points for KUA and Rick Naylor had ten to reach double figures as well. KUA returns to action tomorrow at 5pm.
