KUA Played a Strong Defensive Game to Tie New Hampton 0-0

The Wildcats traveled to play the New Hampton Huskies under the lights during the Parents Weekend.  The game was dominated by a strong Husky offensive game.  The Wildcats scrambled defensively to the get the ball up their wings but had difficulty keeping it in their offensive end.  Becky Young (Plainfield, NH) and Mary Leech (Manchester, VT) played a strong, smart defensive game.  Kells Casey has 8 saves during the game and 3 key saves in the overtime.  Her quick feet and strategic positioning prevented the Huskies from slipping a goal in on many opportunities.

 

Kimball Union travels to Tilton tomorrow to have a rematch against the Rams at 3:00.
