KUA rebounds to win 56-50

KUA Boys Basketball team recovered from a tough three point loss to Brimmer on Saturday by travelling to Wilbraham Monson School and  coming away with a hard fought 56-50 win.  In an evenly matched contest KUA built a 4 point lead at the half only to see Wilbraham go on a run in the second half to go up by five with 8 minutes left.  KUA battled back taking the lead with two minutes left and then held on for the win going 5-6 from the line in the last minute.  Brian Fabrizius stepped outside to hit 4 of 7 from behind the arc as he lead all scorers with 16.  Ryan Daye  played a strong game at the point scoring 14.  Waylan Siverand played well in the second half at both ends of the court as he hit double figures with 10.  Rick Naylor had nine with a strong defensive effort as well. KUA’s record now stands at 13-11 with Vermont Academy coming to town on Wednesday.
