Wildcats Win with Seven
The Lady Wildcats have not been at full capacity since December 8th. There have been no fewer than 3 players on the injured reserve list since that time. Tonight KUA traveled to Class A Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA) with just 7 healthy players and came away with a 55-31 victory. Fiekah Fataar ‘13 and Autumn Kariuki ‘ 12 got the offense going while Rebecca DeTurk (Hartland, VT) and Gabby Diaz (Haverhill, MA) were sparkplugs on the defensive end. Bianca Brenz did a nice job with the dribble drive and finished with 14 points while Kariuki and Fataar finished with 16 and 15 points respectively. Abbey Hybl and Gretchen Schissel were key contributors in KUA’s 13th victory on the season.
