KUA loses at Tilton 3-1

The KUA Girls Varsity Soccer Team lost a tough game at The Tilton School by a score of 3-1. Tilton scored the first goal of the game after a KUA giveaway in midfield that that to a counter attack chance just 15 minutes into the first half. Tilton's second goal came with just 30 seconds left in the half and put KUA in a hole down two goals. KUA came out strong in the second half, applying constant pressure on Tilton keeper Maddy Boles. KUA finally scored on a cornerkick when Shannon Doherty found Emily Kelly on the back post with 15 minutes left to play. Tilton's Janelle McCann sealed the victory with her second goal of the game with just 3 minutes to play. KUA had a wide margin in shots 18 - 6 and cornerkicks 7 - 0. KUA is back in action when they visit Proctor Academy on Saturday for a 2:30 game.
