The Lady Wildcats raced out to a 10-2 lead behind a strong defensive effort. KUA forced 14 St. Paul's turnovers in the opening stanza and 7 more in the second half while committing just 9 of their own.
Rebecca DeTurk played her best game to date netting a season-high 9 points and pulling down 6 rebounds. Point guard Gabby Diaz netted 5 treys en route to a 23 point performance. Greydy Diaz led the way in rebounds with 7 boards while she and classmate Tori Agel dished out 4 assists apiece. Ainsley MacDonald played well defensively limiting any second chance shots for the Big Red.
Kudos also to freshman Gretchen Schissel who looked very confident on both the defensive and offensive ends. She added 2 points and a defensive rebound.
KUA improves to 13-6 win this 56-42 victory against Class A St. Paul's School.
